The Band

The first dolop of Cheap Yellow Mustard to hit the stage was at the local concerts at the park series here in Tehachapi, CA. Prematurally billed as a jazz fusion band, our fearless leader Jerry Mulkins complied with the first original composition named, interstingly enough, Cheap Yellow Mustard. All our music is original due to a dirth of decent cover material to cover.

Cheap Yellow Mustard is truly a labor of love. We play what and when we want to and to one degree or another, we all have day jobs.

We often bring in guest musicians who have included, the great Tom Scott (Tom has recorded more cd's than George W Bush has said idiotic things, in other words, a lot of cd's), also featured are local luminaries including, Ken Basuano on horns, Terri Villani on violin, Alex Ravenfeather on Native American flute, Steve Hall on electric guitar, Gary Mazzola, Joy Gray, Tracy Barnes and Maria Weir Worth on ooze and aahhs.
